Mother Goat returns with the catchiest single of September. It's not just an ear worm, "Outta My Head" is a get-up-and-go spirit booster. Singer and writer Jalil Jahantab breaks it down for you, verse by verse: how to let inspiration catch fire and turn your idea into something real.
Let's not forget this thing is a dancefloor igniter with crisp disco and funk design lines. So it moves you in more ways than one. Also, it WILL get stuck in your head.
The band is in top form here. Anchored by Taylor Lissandrello (drums) and Jalil (bass, vocals), the interlocking rhythm guitars by Aaron Strickland form a web of tiny rubberbands that Jared Warren's vintage synth line floats and bounces over.
Give it a shot. It's only gonna make yer day brighter.
